Purpose: This peace concert celebrates the UN International Day of Peace by sending out a message from the heart of Texas to inspire and unite people through the medium of classical music.

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. However, Classical Music For the World (CMFW) presents this peace concert on the Saturday before the actual date so that more people can join to celebrate and promote the spirit of peace together.

This event will be the 6th year for Classical Music For the World’s presenting our peace concert at the Texas Capitol Rotunda. The program traditionally includes United UNA-USA Austin chapter’s Peace Pole Ceremony and peace talks as well as classical and folk music, and dance performances. This year the event will be even more memorable, as it will also include the two beautiful art exhibitions of “Батьківська Хата: Ukraine Homestead” and “Angels Guardians”.
