BELLEZA Y COLORES DE UN IDIOMA POPULAR is a musical novel which is centered in Catalonian guitar music. The special atmosphere of those sounds is in their “truth,” in the capability to speak intimately to the inner world of each listener. The songs of Llobet have the rare capacity to transport us in a journey within ourselves, where the Catalonian folk music is only a tool to discover our strong feelings, our sorrows, our joys. Their rhythmic suspensions, or the iteration of certain formulas, take us into the realm of true emotions where we are comfortable within our soul.

The Bolero by Arcas and the Cancion by Cassadò transfer the narration of this novel into the realm of dance and memory, liberating both our body and our emotions. The listener explores the present state of his body and his past emotions, always searching for that truth expressed by the Catalonian songs. In the end, La Depart by Coste is the last chapter of a journey of infinite beauty, where we discover the essence of who we are, the Sound of our Being.
